SKOPJE, 14. OCT. 2016 – EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn said in Skopje that the country is ready to hold elections in December. He stressed this after he held meetings with the leaders of the four main political parties and Special Prosecutor, Katica Janeva. Hahn said that he has identified a will among political leaders for the implementation of the Przino Agreement. “For us, the elections are very important, but I must say that the elections are not everything. The elections are important to drive the country toward the European Atlantic integration path, but the urgent reforms are equally important along with the Przino Agreement. What’s important is that the conditions for elections have been met to that extent that there can be no contests. ODIHR and several other institutions will be here to monitor everything and then report on the elections”, said European Commissioner Hahn. He added that the Special Prosecution continues to have the support of the international community, although he didn’t answer to the question regarding the proposal for the bills demanded by Javena’s team. /balkaneu.com/
